Jose Mourinho’s Inter arrived yesterday in the USA to start their preparation for the Italian Super Cup final on August 8.The Nerazzurri were immediately welcomed by a group of fans who saved the warmest applause for coach Mourinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Materazzi.
With the bulk of the squad making the long-haul flight from Milan to Los Angeles, a small contingent of players - including Nicolas Burdisso, Ivan Cordoba, Amantino Mancini, Maxwell and Walter Samuel - made their own way given their proximity to the US from their respective countries.
Following their evening meal, the side underwent its first official staff meeting to discuss Monday’s return to the training field. The squad will begin training at the UCLA campus on Monday morning.
